The Life and Times of the Long Beach Peninsula Collection began in September.  I have traveled all over this country and many parts of Europe, but nothing compares with the place I live.  We probably all say that.  There is something about home.  Over the years I have shared parts of my world here on the Peninsula with many collectors all around this country and even in Europe.  For those who have followed my work for some time, you have become familiar with names like Nahcotta, Oysterville and Ilwaco Port, or terms like clamming, and Dungeness crab.  The Life and Times of the Long Beach Peninsula will be a journey throughout the next 12 months, sharing the magic of this little piece of land at the Pacific Ocean’s edge.

Each month, I will paint what is uniquely characteristic of the life and times of this peninsula.  These original paintings will become a part of The Life and Times of the Long Beach Peninsula Collection.  I will select one or two watercolor paintings from each month that will become a limited edition giclee print of only 95.  These prints will be released quarterly.

For those of you who wish to be notified when these paintings and giclee prints are released, we have established list so we may notify you.  To add your name, a sign-up sheet is provided in Wiegardt Studio Gallery or just send an email to watercolors@ericwiegardt.com, stating in the subject line Life and Times List.  We will update you as originals are released monthly and giclee prints quarterly.  We have added a Facebook page for The Life and Times so you can see the photos for each month.  I encourage you to guess which photos I may paint.  The paintings and giclees will be posted on the website.
