Winter storms on the Peninsula are a part of the landscape. We watch the storms change the appearance of the beaches as a result of the Pacific Ocean’s angry waves. There is something invigorating about storm watching. It has its own beauty and energy.
In Storm Surf at Cape Disappointment, I wanted to capture the beauty and energy of a storm at Waikiki Beach as I was looking up at Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. Not only was it inspiring to paint, but it was exhilarating to capture it through the lens of my camera.– Eric
