Terms and Conditions

Eligibility and Participation: This online art show is open only to students who have taken a class with Eric Wiegardt in the calendar year 2024.

By submitting artwork, participants confirm their eligibility and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Artwork Submission: Each eligible participant may submit one painting via the official website upload feature.
All submitted artwork must be the original work of the submitting student.
Submissions must include the title, size of the physical painting, student’s hometown, painting caption, and painting visual description.
Image files must meet the specified size and format requirements.
The submission deadline is October 5, 2024.
By submitting artwork, participants grant the organizers the right to display the artwork as part of the online show from November 1 to December 31, 2024.
Intellectual Property: Participants retain all intellectual property rights and copyright to their submitted artwork.
Participants warrant that their submission does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Community Engagement: Viewers will have the opportunity to offer feedback on the artwork. All comments will be moderated and approved before posting. The organizers reserve the right to remove any inappropriate or offensive comments.
Awards: Eric Wiegardt will select and present various awards, such as “Best Use of Color”. Winners will be announced during the show. The decision of Eric Wiegardt regarding awards is final.
Liability and Indemnification: The organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the online art show. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers from any claims arising from their participation or submitted artwork.
Privacy: Personal information collected for the art show will be used solely for the purposes of administering the show and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Modifications and Cancellation: The organizers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions or cancel the art show at any time without prior notice.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington State.
